impressive power of DHP™.
A unique molecule designed to fight viruses, bacteria, mold, and odors.
Synexis is the first company to create and patent Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP™), the true gas form of hydrogen peroxide.
Made from naturally occurring elements already in the air, DHP™ is designed to safely and effectively break down pathogens—flowing freely and continuously through indoor spaces to reduce the presence of microbes in the air and on surfaces, with no reliance on the exchange of air.
The breakdown: DHP™ & microbes.
Our DHP™ molecule is structured similarly to a water molecule. The vulnerable structures on microbes, like viruses, bacteria, and mold, attract DHP™ like water. Once found, DHP™ attacks the vulnerable prongs on the outside of the virus, for example, and denatures them.
Then, DHP™ creates rifts in the spherical body of the virus and causes it to rupture. Boom. No more microbe. Just loads of DHP™, continuing the cycle and turning back into water after the pathogen bursts—only to be replaced with more DHP™ from Synexis, targeting the next microbe before you even know it’s there.
“Denaturing renders a virus non-infective and destroys it. When DHP™ attacks the prongs on the outside of the virus and denatures those, it renders them non-infective. Then DHP™ creates rifts in the spherical body of the virus that causes it to rupture.”

Is DHP™ safe?
Short answer: Yes. But we know the details matter. Let’s break down the finer points.
Synexis’ DHP™ technology does not emit ozone.
DHP™ is manufactured at an EPA registered establishment in accordance with the Agency’s requirement for devices. Synexis devices also underwent rigorous testing by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and were certified to meet UL2998 for zero ozone emissions.
Attacks microbes while you work.
DHP™ was designed specifically to allow people to safely remain inside the same room where the technology is breaking down microbes. Synexis DHP™ concentrations fall far below acceptable safety limits for human exposure established by OSHA.1 So, our DHP™ will continuously attack microbes while everyone in the space goes about their day, no disruption needed.

Attacking microbes in the air and on surfaces.
Microbes like viruses, bacteria, mold, and chemical odors pose the biggest health risks. These microbes can be passed along in the air and on surfaces, potentially creating an endless and dangerous cycle. But DHP™ reduces microbes in even the hardest-to-reach areas.
Not every cleaning method can conquer microbes both in the air and on surfaces. Manual cleaning often misses microbes in the air, and still, the surfaces are only as clean as the last scrub. Methods like UV Light and Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor may address both but are toxic upon direct exposure to people. DHP™ doesn’t have these challenges.

How our DHP™ is expertly crafted.
Every indoor environment naturally contains ambient oxygen and humidity. Once inside our device, the oxygen and humidity are broken apart by a photocatalytic reaction (a chemical reaction involving the absorption of light) and put back together as DHP™ — hydrogen peroxide in its true gas form.

Numbers tell the tale.
Synexis attacks and breaks down every species and type of microbe on which it’s been tested. As a data-driven company, we use both third-party and real-world testing, in the size of real-life environments, to optimize a pioneering microbial reduction approach that produces cleaner and productive environments for our clients.
