David Butow – Director

David Butow is an attorney with Trane Technologies, where he has global responsibility for the legal aspects for mergers and acquisitions and leads the Ethics and Compliance function.  David brings over 27 years of experience practicing law at leading law firms and multi-national corporations, covering all major disciplines of the law with a high concentration in corporate law. And he has worked as an expatriate attorney in Singapore and in Brussels.  David is a member of the Board of Directors of the joint venture between Trane Technologies and Mitsubishi Electric as well as the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte, and he serves on the Board of Trustees of Cannon School.  He graduated with a B.A. double-major in History and Philosophy from Northwestern University, and he received his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law.
