Welcome to the New Synexis Blog

David Lesky

If you’ve come across the Synexis® blog, you’ve likely been on the Synexis website, so you know a little about what we do. But in the instance that you aren’t aware, we have a mission to use our intelligence, power and technology to fight pathogens in the air and on surfaces. Your Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) is more important than anyone realized for a very long time.

It likely took a pandemic to drive that point home to many individuals and companies, but after the last few years, that fact is no longer a mystery to anyone. It’s never been a mystery to us because indoor air quality isn’t just about viruses and airborne illnesses. The pollutants in our indoor air are plentiful.

Why Create a Synexis Blog?

According to lung.org, these are just some of the pollutants that are in our air when we’re indoors:

  • Bacteria
  • Viruses
  • Cleaning supplies/household chemicals
  • Dust mites/dust
  • Particulate matter
  • Pet dander
  • Secondhand smoke
  • Asbestos
  • Building and paint products
  • Formaldehyde
  • Lead
  • Carbon Monoxide
  • Nitrogen dioxide
  • Water damage
  • Mold
  • Radon

That isn’t even a comprehensive list. So it’s very easy to see how and why the need exists to neutralize these pollutants. But the beginnings of Synexis came long before indoor air quality was all the rage. We were ahead of that curve, a company born out of science and engineering. Our goal at Synexis is to utilize our Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP®) technology to make it safer to walk into any room.

How We Utilize DHP Technology

We’ll get into this more as we create more and more blog posts on the Synexis blog, but here’s the basics. DHP is made from naturally occurring elements that are already in the air. It’s designed to safely and effectively break down those pathogens and can do it while working 24/7. You’re wondering if it’s safe. Most are. The technology does not emit ozone, which has been proven through rigorous testing by Underwriters Laboratories and were certified to meet UL2998 for zero emissions.

What sets Synexis apart is that we take a proactive approach. Rather than waiting on a pollutant to enter our area and then use a disinfect or manually clean, our DHP technology continuously generates and distributes a low concentration of hydrogen peroxide gas. This gas permeates the air and reaches all surfaces within a treated area, attacking and neutralizing bacteria, viruses, and mold, both in the air and on surfaces. The process leaves no residue and works in a wide variety of environments, including hospitals, offices, schools, gyms, and public transportation, among other locations.

Whether you’re a facility manager, a healthcare professional, a business owner, or someone with an interest in improving your indoor air quality, the new Synexis blog will help you. Look for a blend of informative articles, insights from industry leaders, product updates, looks behind the Synexis curtain, and much more. We’re thrilled you’ve found our new blog and look forward to working together to foster a cleaner and healthier world.
